It marks the beginning of a series on wild nature painted in 2013-14. A striking and highly colorful series, inspired by the forests of the Canadian Shield, it evokes the magic of the four seasons.

This vision fills me with wonder and leaves its mark on my camera, but above all on my memory, resurfacing first in a drawing and then ultimately in the surreal and unreal colors of this canvas. The execution highlights my background as a graphic designer and my interest in the harmony of negative forms, often associated with contrasting warm and cool colors.
