Can you expedite my order?

💫 An upgrade to priority mail is offered at checkout. However, processing time still applies. If you plan to pay for priority mail but need it even quicker, I can sometimes shorten my processing time if specially requested PRIOR to purchasing. Send me a message and I will let you know what I can do to help! REAL STERLING SILVER: Silver plated or "silver tone metal" is an iron alloy. The amount of real silver in "Silver plated" jewelry is minuscule. Silver plated jewelry is costume jewelry grade metal. Real Sterling Silver is 92.5% real solid silver, mixed with a small percentage of copper for adding strength. It is a high quality precious metal and is very durable and resistant to tarnish. It is hypoallergenic and safe for people with allergies and skin sensitivities. All my real Sterling Silver jewelry bears an authenticity stamp to show that it is made from real silver!

We accept returns or exchanges requested within 14 days of when you received your package and shipped back within 30 days. Just send us a message :) Returns should be sent back in their original condition (in their original pouch with all included parts) with no signs of wear. Normal returns are refunded in full minus $4 (for the amount we paid in shipping) - unless waived due to an issue that was our fault of course! A restocking fee may be applied to returns that are not sent back in their original condition, show signs of wear, or are missing parts (fee will be equal to any loss in value). This dazzling necklace is handcrafted from a REAL Morpho Sulkowski Butterfly wing under a large magnified glass cabochon (read below for more on how I ethically obtain the wings!). The butterfly wing is set in your choice of an antique gold (as pictured), antique silver, or gunmetal vintage style setting with sparkling clear Swarovski crystals. Your choice of chain length (18" short or 30" long) with upgrades to Sterling silver available with the silver pendant option. The pendant measures approximately 1.75" x 2.5"

The Morpho Sulkowski Butterfly, also known as the “holograph morpho” or the “pearl morpho”, is rather rare and found only in Peru. The wings are a brilliantly iridescent pearl color that shimmers in shades of lavender to light blue to yellow depending on how the light hits them. The color in the butterfly's wings is caused by the diffraction of the light from millions of tiny scales on its wings. It uses this to frighten away predators, by flashing its wings rapidly.

Each piece will arrive in a custom gift bag with literature on the species of butterfly and a free die-cut sticker or magnet!

*NOTE* No Butterflies are harmed in the making of my jewelry! All butterflies are raised on butterfly farms and sanctuaries and allowed to live their full lifespan, which averages about 1 month, and then collected and sold so that their beauty can live on! Butterfly Farming actually helps to preserve rain forests and also assures the survival of natural butterfly habitats. Native people are encouraged to grow plants and raise insects opposed to clearing land for cash crops. I am a member of and donate to the Rainforest Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the Rainforest and the many species that live within it, including the Blue Morpho Butterfly!

This is the third of this exact necklace (morpho sulkowski) that I have purchased over a span of about 6 years. I wear it EVERY single day and constantly receive compliments. It has truly become part of my identity. The first one lasted the entire 6 years and it took a beating. The second one I purchased was a more delicate version that I wore for my wedding and to save as a keepsake. This third one is just as the first and I have no doubt that it will be with me through many years to come. I have recently purchased a number of other necklaces from this shop, and they are all high-quality, well-made, and stunning pieces. This necklace will always be my number one, though.
