This is a PDF Pattern for the "Vermont" hat, an original design of mine, which incorporates rich tweed and aran wools with the beautiful Noro Japanese yarn.

This is a design I created to celebrate the changing seasons. It is knit in three beautiful coordinating yarns- in the photos I have used a rich Irish tweed,a Scottish Aran pure wool, and a gorgeous band of Japanese Noro wool in vibrant multicolors. This hat is a very flattering shape with horizontal stripes of rich coordinating color.The tweed wools make it very warm, perfect for colder climates, and the stretchy fit means it will fit most heads. The hat covers the ears for colder days, but can also be worn with the brim turned up for a shorter look. This style hat looks equally good on men and women.
This pattern is suitable for intermediate skill levels. It is knit on straight needles and sewn up at the end.There are two sizes and it will suit both men and women.
