Brilliant red leaves stand out against an early snow in this digital painting titled Fall into Winter based on an original photograph by Rebecca Korpita. This photo was taken on a walk in the Elkmont area of the Great Smoky Mountains. The area was quiet with the hush of snow which made a great backdrop for the colorful fall leaves. This has been given an oil painted effect with several different steps along the way to achieve the look I wanted and my memory of that scene.

This high quality Glicee Print is available on Archival Matte Paper and will come with a 1/2-1" white border for ease of matting and framing. Print is also available on 1 1/2 deep stretched canvas with sides painted to match background (ready to hang as is - no need to frame) - see option above right. Note that images showing framed print are for demonstration purposes only - print will come unmatted and unframed or on canvas.
