These boxes are handcrafted from 3/8 inch Oak, Maple, or Cherry hardwood. They have a recessed top and bottom made from 1/4 inch Maple, Oak or Cherry plywood. The corners are mitered and the top edges are rounded over to give them a beautiful finished appearance. They have an interlocking hinged top with 90 degree brass stop hinges to support the lid. The outside dimensions of this box are approximately 10 x 6 x 3 3/4 inches, with a total inside area of 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 3.

This box also come with a small removable tray The trays are 1 1/4" tall. They make wonderful little jewelry boxes.

I was so pleased to find such a beautifully crafted box with a recessed top. It's perfect for stitching projects. I love that the box was obviously made with great care, and the cherry wood is lovely. The tray is a great extra, too. It's the perfect memory box.
