It can be adorned with a heart embroidered with the verse: "This is a shirt that I used to wear. Whenever you hold it, know that I am there." You can have it made with or without the embroidered verse, depending on your preference.

My father-in-law passed away suddenly a few months ago and I instantly knew what we needed to do with a four of his favorite shirts. These will be Christmas gifts for my MIL, BIL and SIL this year. Meanwhile, our pillow was immediately placed into my father-in-law’s recliner by my husband and daughter as soon as the package was opened! I think Dad would approve. This is the third time I have purchased a bereavement pillow from Karen. The first one was for me. I treasure the sweater pillow that is reminiscent of my father. The second time was for a cousin when my aunt passed. And, this time it was for my sister-in-law in memory of her mother. She had specific design requests which Karen graciously accepted. She was truly elated when she received the pillows and the heart ornaments that Karen made with the leftover fabric. Thank you, Karen. It is a wonderful way to keep the person you are celebrating close to your heart.

This is the second pillow I have ordered from Karen. Both have been beautiful and made with love. She always responds to emails and you can tell she cares about what she's doing. Never want to order "bereavement" items, but these have been received well by family members I've given them to.
