Our votives are larger than the standard small votive 2x2 1/2 in. We recommend burning your candle in a glass jar that is 2 1/2 in. tall and 2 in. wide.

**Our votives have a burn time of up to 10 hours, if placed in an appropriately sized vessel and the wick is kept trimmed to around 1/4 of an inch. Burn time will vary according to the care taken with lighted candles.

I really like these candles. They're very well made. My only issue is that they look completely different than the photos. I was expecting (& wanting) red and green but the candles I received are more of a dark reddish/brownish/purplish and a very muted dark green. I'll use them but they aren't really right for the holidays. Still, I would recommend this shop for the selection and quality.

Hi there, we are a bit confused by your review stating you liked the candles and the quality but at the same time they were not red and green or the shade you wanted? We know for a fact these are always red and green and couldn't be anything different. We are confused how you are coming up with the colors you mentioned. We give through attention to making sure our customers receive what our photos show. Please note the review below this one. It is again, confusing to us how these managed to not look festive enough for the holidays.
