Very nice solid black walnut wood sculpture, a piece with good size but it can be easily hung on the wall and is a unique piece of artwork. The piece of black walnut wood had a natural curve to it on the outside, that is why the piece was picked to make this woman in a bell dress. It sticks out away from the wall and is a very unique piece of wood and it is hollow on the back side of the dress to decrease the weight.

It can be easily hung on any finished hammered into a stud, with the nail angled upwards holding the piece tight against the wall where it will not fall. The piece even though it sticks out cannot sit flat on a shelf.


This sculpture is 18" tall, about 14" wide and has a thickness of 4" at the bottom the thickest point. At the thinnest point it measures about 1 1/4". It was oiled with many coats of Watco finishing oil, providing it a long lasting shine over time.


Reflected in the price of this piece was the time it took to create as well as the past pieces that have been sold. Each of our sculpture carvings are one of the kind pieces, all individually made and carved, this piece is a great example of that because you can still see some of the gouge marks in it.
