Can I get the working compasses wet?
I recommend removing any jewelry made with the working compasses when in and around water to avoid them fogging up or getting water under the dial.

Will this jewelry turn my skin green?
Some people are allergic to metals. If your skin turns green while wearing metal, you may try coating it with a layer of a product called "Jewelry Shield". It looks like clear nail polish, and will creat a barrier between your skin and the metal to reduce allergic reactions. If you skin turns green, it is NOT because the materials are of poor quality. I use nickel free, high quality materials.

The silver plated components that I use are the best on the market. They are 3mm thick 99.9% pure silver over a base metal like brass, or pewter (B'Sue by 1928 pieces). It behaves exactly like solid silver and will not chip, flake or peel off. I use only the best quality, American made nickel free fine silver plated items.

How do I polish my jewelry if it becomes tarnished?
Jewelry that becomes tarnished or darkened may be brightened up with a jewelry polishing cloth, such as a "Sunshine cloth" to restore the bright finish. Some people actually prefer an aged look as it adds character to the piece.

My gold plated items are either Vermeil: gold plating over sterling silver, or 3mm of high quality gold plating over a base metal such as brass or pewter (pewter for all B'sue by 1928 pieces). The gold plating on charms, pendants, connectors will not flake/chip/peel off like cheap materials. I use only the best!

Will my jewelry arrive in a box?
All jewelry is shipped in a jewelry box or in some cases a silk pouch. Your jewelry is ready to give as a gift or to treat yourself!

I ship internationally using USPS (United States Postal Service), First Class. Once it leaves the United States, it is difficult to track. I have no control over which route they choose to deliver it once it is shipped, and it may pass through several countries before reaching yours. In most cases, it takes at least 7 days but up to a month, in my experience. Once it has been delivered the tracking is updated as delivered.
