It measures approximately 24x17x17 and holds up to 25 children's books or up to 12 adult novels (depending on size). This is a cedar and pine Neighborhood Book Exchange for sharing your books with neighbors and friends. It is made with 1x8 Western Red Cedar and Southern Yellow Pine #117 siding for the roof.

The POST MOUNT comes fully assembled and attached for easy assembly. All you have to do is put a 4 x 4 post in some concrete and set the house on the post.s a door with Plexiglas window.

I seal all the inside joints with clear silicone to ensure a weather tight seal.

These Neighborhood Book Exchanges are great for rural America, where great distances make sharing books with neighbors and friends a great way to provide a gift to your neighbors. They are also great in the city where your neighbors can "leave" their books in your Neighborhood Book Exchange when they exchange theirs for yours.

We will guarantee our products that have been finished with multiple coats of Valspar Duramax Exterior Latex Paint and Primer or those finished with an oiled-based Spar Varnish, such as Cabot Spar Varnish or Rust-Oleum Spar Varnish. This Spar Varnish has been used on marine boats with many, many years.

Once painted and mounted on a post the Neighborhood Book Exchange should last for years of service keeping you and your friends supplied with a new source of books.

Photos just don't do this library justice. My library was built with real craftsmanship, very solid and made to last. There is a lot more room than the photos depict--it will easily hold art books or you could add a shelf inside. It was carefully and ingeniously packaged to withstand the most hazardous shipping, and it arrived right on time. The seller was great throughout the purchase, and very easy to deal with. I highly recommend this craftsman!
