If you would like to return an item because it wasn't what you needed, just email for an authorization before returning any item(s). We will not accept nor be responsible for returns that we did not authorize. We do not accept returns of videos or DVDs, unless defective. Special order parts in most cases cannot be returned. Our favorite 100% wool roving for spinning and felting!

This listing is for 4 ounces (a quarter pound) of natural ecru wool roving.

Excellent fiber for beginning spinners. Spin a fine to medium woollen, worsted, or semi-worsted yarn. Corriedale will bulk after washing and has good elasticity.

Also a good felting fiber, especially good for needle felting.

Staple length is approximately 4-1/4 inches. 27-30 micron count.

The Corriedale sheep is found on sheep farms all over New Zealand. Its wool has a clear even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin or felt. The sheep are well cared for and are not mulesed.

The wool scoured (washed) using an environmentally-friendly, biodegradable detergent. The wool is then dried and dyed. The dyes comply with the strict EU regulations and garments made from the roving can be certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. This standard is the most widely known standard for certification of ecologically-safe clothing. (Detailed information can be found at www.oekotex.com). The fiber is then gently opened and conditioned. Carding machines align the fibers and remove any foreign matter. It is then gilled and combed.
