Vintage from the 1980s

This is a custom Game Boy with a clear "Play It Loud" back and custom orange front. It also has custom orange buttons and a new screen guard. The screen doesn't appear to be missing any lines and the sound works great. There's a superficial flaw in the plastic on the back that was caused by the manufacturer (it's been there for years). If you just want an old-school Game Boy to play old games with (but want to actually see things without holding it under a desk lamp), this is your hand-held. No games are included. I'm just displaying a game to show the screen.

No returns on this.. it's been refurbished, but it's as-is.

If you get it and it doesn't work because it was damaged in shipping, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I've went to great length to show what you're buying and so hopefully all expectations will be met here. Please make sure you have good batteries (I've had people say plug-n'-plays don't work and it turn out to be bad batteries. Seem simple, but throwing it out there just in case).

I might accept a project to mod your game boy if you supplied the parts to me (i.e. a backlight). I might also do custom buttons, etc during that mod if you supplied those. But I don't really keep a lot of that stuff on hand other than projects I've already planned for. It also may take a while for these supplies to arrive, so I'd rather just sell pre-made items rather than work out deals for custom orders. But never hurts to ask, right?
