This is traditional hand embroidery "Bharat", very famous among Meghwal women, the refugees from Pakistan in India. They live in Thar desert and still continuing with their culture of "Bharat". This motif of "Bharat" in the cushion covers is "Pakko". This is inherent from generation to generation.

I got these cushion covers made by them in 2007 for my love of this craft culture.

These are absolute museum pieces of culture and have great aesthetic value.

The hand embroidery and 100 mirrors in it are fabulously done which requires great skill, keen interest and concentration.

This is unimaginable in the fast life culture we live in today.

It perfectly represents the happy and culturally rich life these women have had in last 100 years in the villages of Pakistan and India.
