Red Japanese Wave Pattern Gift Wrap. Handmade Lokta Paper. 75 x 50cm.

This sheet of hand made Nepalese lokta paper is individually screen printed in Kathmandu valleys by local craftsmen and women.

Can be used for gift wrap, wedding stationery and other craft projects.

Lokta paper has an age old tradition in Nepal, commonly used for prayer books and important documents. Hand made in remote villages from the bark of a mulberry bush, it is harvested in such a way that makes it a sustainable source. The paper is then hand block and/or screen printed in a mix of beautiful patterns.

The sheets will be sent folded however if you order 4 or more sheets they will arrive rolled. You can also have the paper sent in a cardboard tube for an additional cost of £1.00, please use the link below;
