This is out of my private stash, I found a handful of tops in the 1980s that came with a history, the original owner was a dancer who lived in Paris in the 50s. Of the tops I bought, (about 5) this is the only one left. It is a very lightweight yarn with lurex woven in. The others were rayon jersey and this one feels more like light wool or a cotton wool blend. In very good condition, I only wore it a couple times, always during the holidays. It has a lovely neckline, very feminine, could be worn off shoulder, altho I never did. . I've never tested the yarn with a burn test, that would give clue as to whether or not wool. It is not itchy , so might be a cotton rayon blend. It is 17 inches at the bottom and expands to 40 easily. 19-1/2 under the arms (38) , and perhaps 19 at bust = 38,...it CAN fit up to 40/42/44 bust, it has a nice stretch to it. Sleeves are more like a 3/4 or slightly longer sleeve,....cuff does not reach the wrist. , looks best pushed up as would be 3/4. It is a super sweater, I'm clearing out clothes and belongings I LOVE but which I have not worn in many years:-)
23" shoulder to hem. And Sleeves are 21" from the edge of neck to hem.
