Hector Aguilar 940 Sterling Silver & Copper Brooch and Earrings Set 1940

A Hector Aguilar 940 sterling silver and copper fleur de lys design brooch and matching earrings set circa 1940. The graceful flowing design with the restrained floral pattern makes this classic set an ideal accessory jewel for any time or outfit. The pin is pictured on page 108 of MEXICAN SILVER by P. Morrill and C. Berk. The pin measures 2-1/2" across, and the earrings measure 1-1/4" x 7/8". Besides the Hector Aguilar mark, the pieces are marked 940 (for silver content) and Taxco. Using a higher grade silver was not an uncommon practice by some the Mexican silversmiths and jewellers.

Jewelry is vintage and will have signs of use as expected.

Expresspost parcel to the U.S. starts at $85.00 and Xpresspost parcel within Canada starts at $68.00 (tracking and loss insurance included). Rates in Canada vary & we have to set a rate. Postage that is less will receive refunds & more remote locations in Canada may require additional shipping.
