Custom and personalized orders

If you do not see a size you like, you can request a custom size and I will provide a quote including the cost of shipping. Please provide me with your zip code or postal code for quotes. I can build very large pieces, some of which can be made in multiple sections and bolted together or can be shipped via freight as a single piece. If you would like a custom color scheme (ie. removing or adding a color from my natural palette of browns, greys, white, and reds) please let me know so I can make sure that it is available. Every piece of artwork is custom packaged with specialized wood and foam corners including many layers of cardboard to protect all edges. I build custom boxes to wrap every individual pieces. All the packages are fully insured by me, Craig Forget, not the shipping company from being lost or damaged during transit.

If you need one of my made to order art pieces sooner than 4 to 6 weeks, please message me and let me know when you need it by and where you are located so I can give you the quickest time that it can arrive to your door. Another option is to speed up the delivery time by expediting the package. This is usually my last option because of the very high shipping cost associated with the size of the package. I use standard ground shipping which usually takes 4 to7 business days depending on where you are located. If you would like overnight shipping, I can get you a quote for this option. This art piece is made to order to look similar to the one in the image. I send photos for your approval before I ship it out.

If you do not see your city, please let me know which city you would like and I will add it to the listing. If you would like to see the image of the city before purchasing, feel free to contact me and I will send you a picture of the skyline.

For this listing I offer raw steel with clear matte finish which looks blueish black in color. Keep in mind that the steel can contain small scratches and imperfections due to the nature of using raw steel. Other options if you are worried about small scratches and imperfections are to paint it in a black matte finish or having it distressed like some of the other steel work you see in my shop. Just send me a message if you like the look of the steel on one of the other pieces in my shop.

The art piece in the picture measures 70"x 22".

This art piece is a combination of reclaimed barnwood and a skyline cut from 1/16" thick raw steel.
The frame is made of Poplar hardwood stained in a Black Ebonized finish. The barnwood strips measure ½” wide and vary in depth to give the art piece some depth. All the various brown and grey colored strips of wood are completely natural in color; there is no stain or paint that has been applied to the inner pieces. I then applied two coats of low VOC water based sealer in a matte finish to preserve the art piece.

Each art piece is hand signed and dated in the back and I also incorporate a custom made laser engraved wood name tag on the side of the piece.

I also include a heavy duty mounting bracket.
