Interlock Bail Tutorial. This tutorial will teach you how wire weave 2 different weaves based on two and four base wires. You will create the bail that could be used with a donut stone or any top drilled focal bead with a hole large enough for four 20g wires.

The tutorial is 12 pages long, in 24 fully illustrated easy to follow steps with an additional 8 steps for an in depth how to on the ladder weave. This tutorial is recommended for the intermediate - advanced wire wrapper. You should have a basic understanding of weaving and hand forming basic shapes. This file is 445KB.

Materials:
20 Gauge dead-soft wire for your frame. Approximately 14 inches (36.5cm)
28 Gauge dead-soft wire for your weaving. Approximately 5 Feet (1.5 meters). Wrapped onto a kumihimo bobbin.
28mm Stone donut or top-drilled focal bead. Your hole will need to be large enough for four 20 gauge wires to pass through comfortably.

Round Nose Pliers

This was a digital download that was easy to use. The pattern is well written and had lots of pictures. The instructions for a stitch that might not be well known are included. That was a big help. Overall this is a very good and useful tutorial.
