Small leaf shaped raw copper scales, perfect for jewelry embellishments, making belts, armor, etc. You can stamp them, engrave them or let your imagination take over! Because they're made of copper, they will tarnish or develop a patina over time. To prevent tarnishing add a protective layer of lacquer or wax.

Scales are made by punching layers of copper sheet at one time. There may be some dust and oil residue left from this process, so a quick cleaning may be necessary before incorporating these into your work. Cleaning is easy with a copper cleaning cloth or vinegar/salt solution.

This listing is for 10 small raw copper scales.
