This ring was made from a silver strip which has been textured on surface by using various natural materials. We passed silver piece through the rolling mill together with a dry wooden tree bark that left the surface textured with beautiful, deeply embossed, natural patterns.
The inside surface is smooth and creates a nice contrast with textured outer surface. Our logo "Stories" is stamped on the inside of the ring.
The thickness of the silver strip we used to make the ring is roughly around 0.8 mm. Width of the silver band is 7 mm.
Because of the manual process of texturing the metal we can never recreate 100% same surface, however we will make sure the final effect is about the same. Uniqueness of the product is what makes it special, as no two rings can be exactly the same.
This is a very elegant, sculpture-like wraparound ring, thanks to its relative light weight also comfortable to wear and a sure to attract attention! Suitable for men and women.
We can make this ring and have it shipped in about 2-3 weeks after ordering.
Our products are hand crafted in 95-99% Silver by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans.
The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet.
With a higher silver content than sterling silver, Karen silver has a weight, bright satin color and feel, all of its own. Every piece is handmade and individual.
The product comes in a traditional Karen packaging and includes tracking number for safer shipping. By purchasing this product, you contribute directly to maintain and support local arts and crafts in Thailand.
