How I Made It:
I hand make all of my ceramic pet bowls myself from the beginning. No factory made templates or bisqueware here. This heavy duty pet bowl is cast from a mold that I hand designed from by hand. I start with a random kitchen item to make the base of my mold, then carve into the mold by hand to slowly create the perfect curves, rim, footings, etc. I use a bright white earthenware clay. Much more durable than white porcelain. And definitely not the polymer clay that softens when it's warm or held in your hand too long. Real clay! If you choose a color for the inside, I carefully apply the colored glaze of your choice. I stamp them using wooden stamps and ink designed for high temperatures in the kiln. I fire them with a lead free, clear glossy glaze over the ink so that your design will last forever. If your bowl has a luster, I apply your gold or silver luster rim and fire them a third time. The process is time consuming, but the results are durability and longevity. These dog bowls are sturdy, heavy and have rubber bottoms for optimum functionality. Pet tested and approved by our very own Sweeny, a great dane mix and Nelson, a beagle mix, who are the "supervisors" of Elycia Camille dog products.

Great gifts for pets and pet owners.
These bowls are great for food or water. They make a great gift for a new pet, birthday or just because you love them and want them to be stylish. They are also a great item to gift to a pet owner, perhaps as a house warming gift.
