► For canvas prints, the "canvas+2 inches border" option is necessary if you intend to mount it on a wooden frame; in this case the outer 2" area of the image is printed in mirror as a border. This is the area which should be wrapped on the wooden frame.

► Shipping is done in a rigid tube;
► The frame or canvas mounting are not included.

Absolutely stunning 1901 map of Maine!! Dan worked with me to print a custom size and it was a pleasure to work with him. He promptly sent me a pdf of what the map would like with the custom dimensions, and it looks even better in person. The dimensions are perfect, too. The map arrived sooner than expected and was meticulously packaged. Highly recommend. Thanks so much!

I was very pleased with this, but more importantly, so was my father (the recipient). Dan, the seller, responded very quickly when I asked if he could zoom in on a certain portion of the map so that it would be bigger for my 81-year-old dad to see the detail. My dad and I are using it to write down his recollections of the neighborhood where he grew up. We didn't order the canvas, but the quality of paper was good. I would definitely order from Dan again if the occasion presents itself.
