Each of my tie clips are handmade from the most beautiful and rare woods from around the world and is made one at a time by me, in my home shop. Because woods can vary greatly in color and figure, yours will be unique in grain and color from the picture. It measures roughly 0.35" wide and is hand buffed with a wax and shellac blend.

Olneya tesota is a perennial flowering tree of the Fabaceae family, legumes (peas, beans, etc.), which is commonly known as Ironwood or Desert Ironwood. ironwood is very hard and heavy. Its density is greater than water and thus sinks. Due to its considerable hardness, processing desert ironwood is difficult.
