This stole is made from a recycled burlap coffee sack, providing a rustic yet elegant look.

The burlap is sourced from a nearby coffee producer, and has been thoroughly cleaned. The left side of the stole has a series of flames, and "To the ends of the earth” from Acts 1:8 is hand painted on the right, both sides in a gradation from yellow to orange to red. The color and design of this stole make it a wonderful choice for Pentecost, ordination, or installations.

I will create a stole for you similar to the one pictured, modified if needed for length. Bear in mind that due to the nature of the burlap material, slubs and slight irregularities are to be expected and add to the character of this stole; additionally, text that was printed on the coffee sack is sometimes still visible on the stole.

This stole is made with a tapered neck, approximately 2 1/2" at the neck, 4 1/2" for most of the length. Length can be anywhere from 44" to approximately 54" from the neck to the end. I can sometimes create a stole 55” or 56”; contact me to determine availability. (Cannot be longer because the coffee sacks are that size.) Read shop policies for sizing advice. Stole is fully lined with recycled P.E.T. felt for stability, backed with a soft 100% cotton. Not reversible. Feel free to contact me for details.
