Highlights
The Icarus backpack is a fully padded laptop bag with lots of space to store all your extras. Love went into the design and construction of this bag and it shows with textured fabric on the outside, a coordinating stripe inside and metal fittings (ladder locks, clasp, etc.) that were custom-made for hard use. I really enjoyed designing the bird artwork based on a mix of my crazy travel photos (a marble wall at the Pantheon and pieces of random keys from a London museum). The bird is screen printed and embroidered with metallic thread. Craftsmanship and attention to detail are first-rate throughout. Although it has a laptop section, this bag has plenty of other uses and is great for travel!

Gorgeous backpack. Just what I hoped for—and more!
Love this bag! This is my 2nd one of these - had the first for 10+ years and wore it out.
Really fast shipping!!! The backpack smells a little weird/chemical for the first days, but afterwards it's fine.
I love this bag! I've been using it for two weeks straight and don't plan on stopping any time soon. It holds everything I need and more - seriously, I have yet to use some of the options. My tablet and ipad share the laptop pocket while large water bottle, snacks, book, envirosax and paperwork take the large inside. I use the inside zip pocket to hold computer cables I may need. My cane gets folded and placed in the side pocket that has the extra loop to keep longer items secure. The phone pocket is small but is perfect to hold my Leatherman (or pepper spray). This is a beautiful, well made bag that I plan on using for many years.
