Titled "Flying Saucer"
My husband has a small collection of cacti, and one of the most spectacular cactus we have is called Echinopsis or 'Flying Saucer' cactus. The blooms on this cactus will swell up all day and open up at night. They usually only last a day. This plant was too beautiful not to paint.
This piece was painted with oil paints on 20"x 16"x 3/4" (deep) canvas. The edges are unpainted. It is signed, varnished, and ready to frame. The second photo demonstrates how it could look like framed, but please note that the painting is purchased unframed. Watermark does not show on painting.
