Beginner Guide.
Ever want to try to create lace stones yourself?
I've been creating lace stones for a number of years now and have compiled a lot of useful information into this document. These are my personal tips and instructions.
Items included in this document are:
1. Choosing Stones
2. Thread Size vs. Stone Size
3. Common Mistakes
4. Knowing Your Skill Level
5. Fitting the Lace to the Stone
6. Care of the Finished Product
7. Health Concerns
***If you are a very beginning crocheter, I would suggest learning the basics of crochet first. Start out practicing on projects such as a scarf or blanket. Next step would be large thread such as #7 or #10. Try projects such as a small doily, then a larger doily. Once you feel like you've gotten the hang of these projects then move onto smaller thread such as #20 and then #80. I would really love to sit down with you and show you. But I want to encourage you to stick with it, like anything else, it seems difficult to begin with but once you get the basics down then it become fun!!
***Note this listing is NOT for a pattern it is only for instructions on revising your own crochet patterns. And tricks of the trade information.***
If you feel you still have a few questions afterwards, I would be happy to try to answer them.
