This hand crafted desk is made with reclaimed lumber. Each plank is hand picked and color matched. Coloring comes out to a natural wood tone reminiscent of red mango wood or golden oak.

Once joined, the table looks seamless and resembles a solid slab of live edge wood. This method takes days of loving work to complete. Live-edge details add to the character of this piece. This is finished in a high gloss as shown.

All UMBUZO products are lead, asbestos and free of toxins. This is important when considering furniture products made with reclaimed woods, especially wood from old barns that were typically treated with lead based paints and toxic based pesticides.

Important: Table top and legs are shipped separately, basic assembly is required. As this is a multi part shipment, some packages may arrive a day or two earlier than others. Since this item is made with reclaimed wood there is a possibility that the seam may appear to show a settling crack on arrival or a few weeks after delivery. This is normal and non-structural. We will provide a free repair kit to fill any minor cracks in the seam. Hairpin legs are shipped directly from our supplier, and this item is NOT pre-drilled. Pre-drilling is not suggested or necessary. Due to this being a solid wood product, a power tool for secure attachment is always recommended.

If you want an item that is smaller than listed, we generally have to cut down standard sized lumber which means it costs us the same to product than our smallest sized option. We can't offer a smaller customization for cheaper than our smallest standard option. Nor can we offer a larger customization for the same price as our largest standard sized item.

Due to the handmade nature of our items, widths can vary up to 2" from the selected width.

Returns: We do not accept returns for any reason. Applicable items may be eligible for a replacement or exchange. Restocking fee is 20%-50%.

We will help with any obvious shipping damage to your item. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, and also the contents, if you notice any damage, please get in touch with us within 3 days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the issue to your satisfaction with a possible product repair, part replacement, or exchange.

Minor scratches, nail holes, wood knots, and joint gaps less than 1/4" in width are consistent with reclaimed furniture and will not constitute damage. Items made with reclaimed wood have several natural inconsistencies in color, grain, and appearance. Since each piece is custom-made, there may be some deviation between the store image and the item delivered to you.

We stand by our rock solid wood. That’s why we have a lifetime warranty. If the seams of your item separates by more than 1/4”, we will replace it. We do not cover damage caused by sunlight, wear and tear, scratches after delivery, or wood rot or bug infestations caused after delivery. Any outdoor use voids the warranty.

Warranty is not transferable.

I'm a bit picky when it comes to wood tones but this team was so quick to reply and helpful! This desk is absolutely beautiful and is the perfect start to a new office. It is very sturdy and smooth but still easy to drill into. The legs have adjustable feet which is perfect. It's definitely heavy so would take two people to move on stairs.

The desktop was great. The legs aren’t the sturdiest things and like it says in the description, the table doesn’t come pre-drilled. But it was pretty easy to screw in the legs with the provided screws. It did take about a month to get the desk top due to some supply issues but they did reach out to me to let me know so that was nice. Also, they ended up giving me a partial refund due to how long it took to get the desk. Overall, I was happy with the desk!
