Hazel Glass Company was founded in 1885 focused on making glass liners for mason jars. In 1902 they became Hazel-Atlas expanding to fruit jars, oil bottles and other commercial glass containers. In the 1930s they went into dinnerware & glassware, and after WWII they became known for their fired on patterns, often designed by Gay Fad Decorating company. Purchased by the Continental Can Company in 1956, Hazel Atlas became one of the largest glass manufacturers in the world, making some of the most iconic house & barware of the 50s, 60s.
These (as well as with all decorative glassware) should always be carefully hand washed in luke warm water & left to air dry. To remove water marks, a clean, dry, linen cloth is all you need.
