Octopus, hanging air planters. Our original small, hanging octopus come in a rainbow of colors. The planters are in the shape of an octopus and are pebbled in texture. The octopus comes strung with a waterproof nylon cord and with an air plant that is in the shape of the arms of an octopus. Bring the beach home.
Our octopus is the original hanging octopus, air planter. Our octopus are handmade by my husband and myself in Occidental, CA. Our little cephalopod is made from recycled porcelain slip, from our throwing part of work. Our studio is solar powered. We use recycled and compostable shipping materials whenever possible. We care about our planet and appreciate that you have chosen to support a small business, made in the USA.
This purchase is for one octopus planter, air plant and instructions for your air plants. Air plants may vary, we use the most tentacle like, healthy plants that are currently available.
This little octopus are aprox. 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" wide at the base. The octopus are handmade, so there will be a natural variation in them. They come with a waterproof cord ready to hang. The air plants attach with a small wire.
Air plants are easy to take care of and they do not need to be planted. They thrive at the office, at home, in a bright bathroom, even on sheltered porches. They like bright, filtered light, avoid direct sunlight. They like good air circulation. The like humid climates, and should be soaked 2-3 times a week, spray between soakings. The like the temp to be between 45*-95*. Use 1/4 strength orchid fertilizer once a month from Mar-October.
