The bookends in the store are made via 3D Printing and are made from a lightweight plastic (PLA). This makes them lightweight and are not suited for typical day to day use of traditional bookends, but more for decorative use. To help support the books each bookend is designed with a "hook" to attach under your books. This increases the stability of the bookend as the weight of the book helps in supporting them.

Absolutely beautiful. I ordered the Outlander book ends in the same green colour in the photo, and the quality is stunning. I own the collector's hardback editions of these books, which means they are very heavy, but the book ends do a great job of supporting them. Plus, the service is great & I had timely responses when I had questions. Thank you!
