This tutorial bundle offers three tutorials that introduce the medium of soutache at a discounted price. All tutorials are suitable for a beginner.
'Soutache in Bloom' was my first tutorial in the medium - Spring 2013. Materials required include soutache cord, ultrasuede, beading foundation, Czech firepolish bead mix and size 11 seed beads. Completed size is 95mm.
'Indian Summer' was created when I was experimenting with accessible introductions to the medium of Soutache in Summer 2013 . It documents an accessible way of approaching one of the key structures in Soutache - using the beading foundation to give more control over placement of cords and beads. The novelty in this structure is the addition of a bail. The design was completed in Autumn 2013 - with the addition of a complementary chevron braid - for the Beading Gems Soutache Challenge.
'Soutache Heart Drops' were created for Leavers dinner - Summer 2014. Materials required include soutache cord, ultrasuede, beading foundation, 12mm Ruby Zoisite heart beads, crystal drops, size 15 seed beads and charlottes. Completed size is 30 mm.
