Quilted Pot Holder / Hot Pad -- Oversized Tropical Blue Flower with Purple Borders

This potholder measures approximately 8 3/4" x 11". It is constructed using three layers of 100% cotton batting sandwiched between two layers of cotton fabric. Only cotton was used because polyester MELTS when it is exposed to extreme heat. There is a hanging loop attached to one corner. It is machine quilted following the seam lines. It is extra long to protect you better when handling large pans. The potholder is bound in cornflower blue and the backing is the same purple fabric as the border.

This fun little potholder is all about the tropical flower fabric, and who doesn't love a splash of color in her life? It also makes a wonderful protective Hot Pad for the table, or even a great "mug rug" when having coffee and a snack. With the addition of an extra loop this could make a fabulous little piece of wall art, either alone of with one or two other Hot Pads.
