This perfectly rich organic face lotion is designed to deeply hydrate and nourish your skin naturally with no artificial anything.

Ingredients: Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, Organic Jojoba Oil, {Organic Argan Oil (Original) / Organic Rosehip Seed Oil (Anti Aging) / or Organic Baobab Oil (Dry Skin)}, Organic Grape Seed Oil, Organic Beeswax, Essential Oils, and Vitamin E.

We make three different versions of our original Face Food. Each version has a different essential oil package, and a slightly different oil blend.

Need it vegan? Just ask - we can use candelilla wax instead of beeswax for any of our products.

This blend is most appropriate for most skin types. If your skin is extremely oily or extremely dry, you may want something different - just ask for help.


|| Usage ||

You can use your Face Food as a daily moisturizer, evening moisturizing mask, or even a spot treatment for dry spots.

Like all of our lotions, this Face Food is rich and thick, with no evaporating alcohols or quickly dispersing waters. If you're new to our product line, start with just a finger-full and rub that puppy in completely: a little bit goes a long way. If you find your skin asking for more after that, by all means dig in.


|| Scent Profile ||

Original: While we keep this daily face moisturizer very lightly seasoned, the mild scent is truly divine, and personally, I could stick my nose in a jar and breathe this in all day long. The predominant scent will be a mild waft of lavender with very light undertones of the slightly acerbic geranium essential oil. In its original form, this daily face treatment is designed to be as unassuming as possible, and thus you probably won't notice the scent at all a few minutes after application.

Dry Skin Blend: This blend also starts with the citrus scent of palmarosa which mixes perfectly with the sweet, floral woodiness of ho wood, and is given another dimension from the sharp floral note of geranium, and a touch of chamomile.

No Essential Oils - simply let us know under "Notes to EmpireSquid" after your purchase if you would like no essential oils added to your Face Food.

|| Use it or Lose It ||

Since there is absolutely nothing artificial and no preservatives except for the natural preserving properties of vitamin E and essential oils, we recommend you use your lotion within four months, perhaps longer if you keep it in the fridge (keep in mind it will get fairly firm if kept in such a cold environment). Your lotion should be kept out of direct sunlight.

This lotion may liquefy in hot (over 85 F) environments. Liquefaction will in no way harm your lotion, and simply tossing it in the fridge overnight will bring it back to its intended texture. Shipping to or through hot climates, particularly in the summer months, may result in a liquefied lotion.
