NOTE: I'd love to explain my process. I use really old original vintage photos and my goal is to make whimsical creatures look as real as possible. If the original photo is weathered, textured, discolored, even a bit blurry, I keep those interesting features because it adds uniqueness to the finished work : )

This is "Andromeda." He was named after a galaxy near the Milky Way. At 170 years of age he's seen it all. Although he's a recluse and can't speak, he's witnessed some of the worlds most important historical events. He's a treasure and anyone who is honored to be in his presence will never forget.

Multiple images are artistically fused together seamlessly to create a new life form! All my work is created in my little rural home studio in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
