Each and every board is made from a high grade natural wood. All boards are made by us in our own shop and carefully checked. Personalization is achieved by using a state-of-the-art laser engraver. Last but not least, each board is completed with an application of Straga Cutting Board Butter for the board's protection; therefore, you get a fine-looking FINISHED cutting board! We engrave the grooved side of the board with the selected design for display purposes, while the other side is the functional side and can be used as any other cutting board.

One wood type is not better than the other. The main difference between the wood types is the color and grain. Walnut bolsters superior hardness and unparalleled natural durability. Its dark sepia complexion blends organically into any décor. Bamboo offers natural toughness and is lightweight, not to mention a very sustainable material. Mahogany is known for its luxurious burgundy tone, smooth consistency and high density. Whichever wood type you do choose, you will receive a beautifully crafted board.

Board size is a personal preference. In our experience, we find that 12”x15” is the most frequently ordered size. We have a standard way of scaling the engraving to the selected board size. Before ordering, we suggest you measure or estimate our sizes with a measuring tape, so you can get an idea of how big or small the boards are. Please do not use listing photos for size reference.

Please put all personalization details (names, dates, est), according to the design selected, in the “Add your personalization” box located just above "add to cart button" in each listing. This is the only place to leave your personalization details that will appear on the board. We copy and paste whatever is provided, so be sure to double-check the spelling and make sure all of your information is correct.

If you need to make changes to your personalization details, please let us know as soon as possible. The sooner we receive the changes, the more likely we are able to fulfill them. However, once the board is engraved, additional charges may apply.

Yes, absolutely. We prefer you send us a vector image. If you do not have one available, send us some images or explain in detail what you'd like engraved, along with the board size and wood type you'd like, so we can create a custom order for you to purchase. Please note, extra charges apply.

No, to photos. Yes, to proof/mock up if requested.

Unfortunately, we do not take photos of the finished boards due to the fact that only professional photos can reveal the true beauty of the board. However, if you would like to see a proof of your artwork before it is engraved, please make sure to indicate this in the “Add your personalization” box located above "add to cart" button . We will send you a proof for approval via Etsy message only! Please remember that the sooner you reply, the faster we can process your order.

Don't worry. We never ship the receipt or invoice with your package. This can be easily obtained through your dashboard. Click on the “You” drop-down menu at the top of the page, click on “Purchases and reviews”, then find your order and click on “View Receipt”.
