Will the silver or gold filled items tarnish?

I use 925 sterling silver and 14k gold filled. Usually these materials don’t tarnish, but they can get darker over time especially when in contact with some chemicals, sweat, perfume, etc. This doesn’t happen often but it might take place due to the personal reasons. The good news is that even if the rings will get darker over time, they can be easily cleaned.

What is the difference between solid gold and gold filled?

As it comes from the name, solid gold items are made of nothing but gold. The gold filled items consist of the metal core surrounded by a very thick layer of pure gold. The upper layers of gold and gold filled items are the same, but not the core.

What size I need to choose for the nose ring?

The right size depends on nose size (for a nose piercing), piercing location and how snug a customer wants the ring to fit, and the gauge. Usually people purchase 7-8mm ring if they want the ring to fit tight and they purchase 9 to 10 mm ring if they want to leave space between the ring and skin. Also it’s necessary to consider the gauge of the ring.

I want to have the same ring/stud as my friend does.

It is pretty, but I was not aware that the post does not screw on or have a screw on ball like most tragus jewelry. Just a rubber back that slides on post. Impossible to put in tragus!!! I wear it in my cartilage instead.
