Thin 22g = 0.6mm
20g - 0.8mm

To Know Your Diameter:
You can measure the distance between your piercing hole and the tip of your ear/nose.
Add 1mm if you don't want it snug.

I previously bought this earring 7 years ago and it held up amazingly! I decided to buy another once since the first time was so great, but the beads on it came apart and fell out when I tried to put it on so I was a bit disappointed. with that being said, it still looks really good.
