Very happy with the quality of the shock absorbers and screws. I thought I had prepared the plywood back well enough to glue these two items. One was and one was not. The mount did not fit perfectly in the round recess as it must have been slightly larger though not really noticeable. It came off while screwing on to metal chair back bracket. I was able to use a Forstner bit in a drill press to clean up the recess area much better and mount was re-glued and is holding perfectly. Make sure the recess area is large enough for the mount to fit in that area otherwise glue will setup and not bond the rubber to the wood. Read these guys prep material as it is spot on.
