Hellgate Bridge Necklace, acid-etched and cast into sterling silver

PRODUCT INFO AND PROCESS:
Show your Queens love! I etched this iconic Astoria view using ferric chloride and different resists, onto a copper rectangle. After cleaning and finishing the prototype, I made a mold so I can now offer this piece in any metal you like. This listing is for a solid sterling silver pendant, with oxidation in the etching.

SIZE:
16", 18", or 20" length sterling chains available. Model is wearing 16" length. Lobster clasp. Message me if you would like a different length chain. Pendant is slightly over one inch wide.

CARE:
Clean with included silver polishing cloth, or your choice of silver cloth. I recommend this method to to keep the flat parts bright and clean yet leave the etching dark.

CUSTOMIZATION:
Would you like a special message on the back? Machine engraving is available for $15 up to 15 characters. Please allow 3-6 business days for engraving. Simply select the "engraved message" variation at check out, then add a note with exactly the engraving you want. Please leave a separate note with any font preferences. If you want a longer engraving, please convo me before purchase to confirm pricing.

Jewelry that needs polishing comes with a polishing swatch and care info on a card. Most items that can tarnish also come with an airtight baggie and anti-tarnish swatch for storage. You can find additional care info in each item's details.

Silver jewelry can be polished with any commercial polishing cloth. I don't recommend liquid cleaners as this will remove the detail oxidation.

I am happy to create custom orders. If there is an etching or carving you would like that I believe I can add to my line, it will be similarly priced to other stock items. If it is a unique item just for you, design rates start at about $150, then go up based on how many hours of labor and revisions we need to go through, plus the final cost of materials.
