Imagery is my design inspired by generation 1 Pokemon characters. Actual colors and size may vary slightly due to each person's choice in color and yarn type.
You will need yarn (a minimum list of colors needed is in the pattern), crochet hook in appropriate size for yarn (I use size H or 8 with Red Heart brand) and a large eyed needle.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. How big will this blanket turn out?
A. It depends on each person's tension, yarn type, and crochet hook. Also on how big of a border you choose to make. However, the blanket in the photo is roughly 4'6" x 5'6".
Q. What size hook or yarn do you use?
A. I typically use Red Heart yarn, with a size 8 (or "H") crochet hook. That is what I used in the blanket in the photo.
Q. How big is each individual square?
A. It also depends on the yarn you choose to use, the hook size and each person's tension. However, my squares using Red Heart Yarn and size 8 ("H") hook turn out to be roughly 12" x 12" each.
