This is a handmade personalized portrait necklace, made entirely out of polymer clay, in my own cartoonish style. Each detail is a tiny piece of colored clay added by hand. The process doesn't involve painting, which makes it more difficult, but the colors last longer.
The cabochon is nestled in an antique bronze metal base.
I used one of her favorite photos to start the creative process and her favorite colors for the background and clothes. She loves to paint and goes mad about chocolate cake, so I've included those two passions of hers too.
