A high quality glass piece is used to which intricate collages & designs from reproductions of fine prints are glued. The design is completed with textured handmade background papers or layers of sponge painting that fill in the areas not covered by images. Borders are hand painted with gold leaf. For protection 10 coats of varnish follow. All pieces are hand signed & branded with a unique stamp on the back.

Food safe. Gently hand wash front only. Dry immediately. Do not immerse in water. Each piece is hand made in America. Irregularities in the handmade glass and variations in the paper are naturally occurring effects of glassmaking and decoupage .
