Charming wood jewelry keepsake box adorned with unique copper etching inlay that serves as the focal point of this piece. The centerpiece design is etched into the 3" x 3" copper metal, highlighted with a dark patina contrast and, lastly, protected with an acrylic lacquer. The box is made from mahogany using finger joints that add both strength and visual interest. The box is finished using an oil-varnish blend and furniture paste wax, hand-rubbed to a beautiful sheen and silky smooth finish. Black felt has been added to the outside and inside bottoms of the box as well as to the lid. Inner box dimensions: 3"L x 3"W x 2"H.
