I sculpted the original form for these planters, then made a plaster mold to slip cast them. Each step of the process in done by hand, trimming and sanding smooth, painting on the glaze colors and the drawing of the stripes. My style is simple and a labor of love. Finished piece are not as perfect as machine made pots but they are packed with charm and personality!

You can see and feel the thin, raised white stripes that are my signature detail. The look is one that is simple, modern and it is compatible with many styles of home decor.

My favorite use is as an herb pot that can stand happily on my kitchen counter keeping fresh herbs close at hand. Have fun with this little square pot. Switch plants with the changing of seasons. There is always find something cute at your local market that will fit it!
