Hand Carved Fruit Bat Pendant, cast in brass

PRODUCT INFO AND PROCESS:
I hand-carved this roosting fruit bat out of jeweler's wax, then after finishing the prototype, I made a mold so I can cast this in any metal you like. This listing is for solid bronze. After finishing the necklace, I oxidize the metal so you can really see the details in the sweet face. The pendant is quite heavy, though it is hollowed out on the back.

SIZE:
The bat measures about 2.25" long, hanging from a 28" oxidized brass chain. Adjustable cord back with sliding knots is also available (4th picture). The cord is a good option if you are worried about brass chain on your neck.

Jewelry that needs polishing comes with a polishing swatch and care info on a card. Most items that can tarnish also come with an airtight baggie and anti-tarnish swatch for storage. You can find additional care info in each item's details.

Silver jewelry can be polished with any commercial polishing cloth. I don't recommend liquid cleaners as this will remove the detail oxidation.
