Product tips:
- Lightly wash face before using clay mixture to remove surface impurities and dead skin. Pat mostly dry; the mixture will work best on damp skin.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of clay mixture to toner or liquid of choice in a non-metallic dish with wooden spoon to create a paste. Apply evenly to face and neck. Avoid hairline, eyes, and sensitive areas.
- For the first few applications, use for less than the stated setting time so that your skin can adjust to your new regimen.
- When the clay has dried, do not pick off.
- To remove dried clay, submerge in water and rub back and forth gently to loosen. Cup warm water in hands and hold to face, and then rub back and forth gently to loosen. Pat dry with clean, soft towel.
- Any redness to the skin should dissipate without intervention. I recommend applying a gentle toner to the skin after using this mask (if you used toner as your liquid component in the mask, you do not need to reapply).
- Be sure to drink plenty of water before and after using this clay; the detoxification process will pull moisture from your body as it eliminates toxins.
