Neptunalia is a cerulean polish with gold-green-blue shifting shimmer and copper flecks. Two to three coats are recommended.

In the heat of midsummer, the Romans thought it would be wise to keep the aquatic gods happy in order to prevent a drought. On July 23 they celebrated Neptune, the patron of fresh and salt water. The details of the festival aren't well known, but we know they sacrificed bulls and had parties and picnics in the countryside, building huts out of branches for shade. Neptunalia was considered a lucky day to start an irrigation project.
