Please contact us if you'd like to personalize one of our non-custom items. If you're ordering a custom piece like an address sign please remember to include your personalization info in the area to "leave a note" at checkout.

Sizes are listed in the description. If we've missed sizing information please contact us, so that we can correct our mistake! Thank you.

Rusted Items: No special care is needed! Rinse with water if dirty. Rusted items are safe in all weather. No need to bring them in for the winter. Powder Coated Items: Powder Coat is a very durable finish. Safe in all weather. If needed it can be washed with soap and water. Do not use an abrasive pad. Custom Automotive Paint: Treat this finish just like your car. After 6 months of drying time it can even be polished or waxed. Safe outdoors in any weather. Will not fade or peel like spray paint. If needed our painted signs can be washed with soap and water using a soft cloth. Do not use an abrasive pad.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We do not offer gift wrap due to the size of our items. Gift wrap will not survive the shipping process in an attractive manner.

Can I send this item as a gift?

Yes, you can ship items directly to a gift recipient. Please be sure to enter their address correctly during checkout for a seamless transaction.

Rustic Metal Chicken Sign says Hot Chicks Inside! Boost the confidence of your hens with this funny sign! Great gift for any gardener, poultry grower or farmer. This funny chicken sign was inspired by a friend's warming light in the chicken coop. The rusty metal sign is ready to hang on your coop door, fence or even in the she-shed!

This hilarious chicken sign is cut from steel just thinner than a nickel and includes two holes for hanging with nails, wire, or heavy duty ribbon. The sign is 20 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

Choose from our selection of colors, the classic naturally rusted finish, or raw steel for a DIY finish. Color finishes are powder coated for a durable, long-lasting finish indoors or out.

Please note that the naturally rusted finish is made of real, rusted steel. Sign has been pre-soaked to begin the rusting process. The patina will only improve with age! Irregular colors are to be expected, and with time outdoors the entire item will turn a golden rusty brown. Rusted steel can stain fabrics and leave residue on your hands. Please be aware that the item may have sharp edges. Gardening gloves are recommended. This finish is not intended as an indoor product.

This do-it-yourself raw steel sign is coated with an oily film to prevent rust during transit. While we use brand new steel and use rust preventative measures on the mild steel, your raw steel sign can develop slight surface rusting during shipment to your location. This is most likely during transits in high humidity and/or the package being delivered in the rain. Any light surface rust is easily removed by lightly sanding or scuffing with a green scrubbing pad before painting or display.

We recommend lacquer based paint thinner, acetone, automotive brake cleaner or solvent based wax & grease remover to clean the oily film off of the sign before painting. Sanding with a 220 grit or finer sand paper or using a green scrubbing pad to scuff the surface of the metal will greatly enhance paint adhesion. Spray paint with primer is an easy coating for this type of sign. We do not recommend water-based paint on raw steel products as it can cause rust instead of preventing it. Always paint the back side first, so that the front will not be placed down after painting.
