These two coloring pages were hand drawn by myself. They are bird themed, both are hand drawn over a collage of text from vintage books. One contains lyrics from "Three Little Birds" along with a tree, nest, bees, hearts, and more. The other features roses, flowers, birds, bees, a ladybug, and many other bits of doodly art scattered throughout words highlighted from the book pages' text and hand drawn words.
My favorite paper to print on is matt photo paper. You get a very good result when drawing on that. Please do not use gloss photo paper, though! Bright white copy paper is also a good choice, but the matt photo paper is really nice.
You get two download pages to print and color. Etsy will send them to you as soon as payment is confirmed. If you do not receive them, please contact me.
I have scanned both at 300 dpi, saved as a jpeg, and uploaded them to Etsy. After you get them, please save to your computer. Both can be printed at full sheet or 5x7, but please keep them the original shape, don't "fit picture to frame", so you don't loose the edges of the pictures.
Some hints for pretty artwork:
*One of my favorite tools is a Gelly Roll Stardust clear glitter pen, (draw lightly with the pen, gently rub your ink lines with a fingertip for a soft, subtle glitter effect).
*Sometimes, you might want to deepen the black lines with a fine point, black marker after you are done with the color.
*Opaque white markers or pens over your other colors give depth and make your page pop with highlights
*Use a variety of markers, colored pencils, and metallic inks when coloring
